The Bianchi family started making wrought iron keys in northern Italy in 1770. Generations later that same dedication to quality, craftsmanship and innovation went into key duplication, and in 2003 Bianchi 1770 brought its line of key machines to North America.

The Bianchi Tradition

Few names in the key business go back as far. Prospero Bianchi opened his workshop in the Cadore valleys in 1770, and the craft passed from father to son for generations: iron keys, the first printed key catalog, the key duplicating service, mechanical and then electronic key cutting machines.
