Bianchi USA has recently added chipless transponder key shells to their product line. Chipless shells are a new key shell and un-cut blade without a transponder chip. These shells give locksmiths the ability to use an existing transponder chip from a worn or mis-cut key to use in the new shell without the expense of having to buy a completely new key. This practice is sometimes known as "re-chipping" and is becoming a popular tool to save customers time and money.
